Lisa Washington is a registered nurse, health advocate, community volunteer, and proven leader with over 20 years of service to Howard County families. She is currently Chair of the Howard County Democratic Party and is running for County Commissioner – District 1 to bring compassionate leadership, accountability, and transparency to county government.

Throughout her career, Lisa has worked on the front lines of healthcare and public service, including as a nurse manager at Howard Regional Health System and Executive Director of the Minority Health Alliance of Howard County. She has led countywide initiatives to reduce infant mortality, expand access to preventive care, and deliver vital health education to underserved communities.
